Create a S3 Bucket and upload file to the bucket
Create a S3 bucket
- Access the AWS Management Console interface:
- Locate and click on S3
- Choose S3
- In the S3 interface:
- In the Create bucket interface:
- Chooose region Asia Pacific (Singapore) ap-southeast-1
- About bucket name, enter
bucket-workshop
- For Object Ownership, select ACLs disabled (recommended)
- Then click on Create bucket.
- Check the status of your bucket.
- Follow these steps to upload any file from your computer (it can be a .txt file) to the bucket you just created.
- Click on the name of the bucket just created
- Then choose Add files and upload any file you want
- Then review the status of your bucket
